- Short nonfiction books focus on the skills and strategies needed for critical thinking and strategic reading.
- Students learn to connect targeted reading skills to reading strategies, language skills, graphic aids, and writing.
- High-interest science and social studies topics are motivating to all students and promote interest in content area reading.
- Each skill and strategy pair is presented through four leveled Student Books, providing maximum flexibility and supporting differentiated instruction.
- Student Books can be read in one sitting to support efficient, focused instruction and give all students the experience of reading whole texts.
